  Not horrible tasting but overpriced for something that tastes exactly like generic Chinese Food that I could get for less than half the price!
  
  You should walk over to the Luxor and try Rice instead.

  SO BAD!!
  
  $100 for cucumber salad that was alright. Salt and pepper calamari with a really gross thick coating and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Mongolian beef which was awful and they just threw a handful of rice over the top of it. And wonton soup with wontons that tasted like plastic, was just warm, and noodles were so stuck together.
  
  Just everything was SO BAD

  Being a homesick Hong Konger, my sister and I came here for lunch.  We were starving so I skipped Chinatown which was further away.
  
  They were understaff and could not handle the lunch crowd.  Even though I saw 5 empty tables, the wait line was long and moved very slowly.
  
  I ordered chinese tea (without looking at the menu) first thing we sat down.  Hey, that's how the Cantonese do it!  My sister asked for a pot of hot water.
  
  We ordered the Roast Duck Noodle Soup since it was their signature dish.  We also ordered the HK Pan-Fried noodle with seafood.  The Japanese seaweed salad was also ordered.
  
  I got my pot of tea with one tea cup.  The waitress brought my sister a mug with hot water with this comment - "this is not Hong Kong.  And we don't have enough tea pots to go around".  We looked around and only a few tables had teapots on them.  So they have 4, 5 teapots serving the entire restaurant?  Hmmmm.
  
  During the meal my sister wanted to try my tea so we asked for a tea cup.  Our waiter forget and we had to asked again.  I wish we had also forgotten.  On the check we were charged 2 teas.  We spoke with the manager and he told us the tea is $5 PER PERSON. We DID NOT get 2 pots of tea!  A good manager would have comp the $5.  It's only $5 for them.  It's a rip off.  When the waiter brought the second cup, he should have informed us that cup is actually going to cost us $5.  When they insisted on charging us $5, they lost 2 customers and all others who would read this review.  Can you imagine a family of say 6 ordering tea?  That would be $30 on their bill.  And it's the same amount of tea leaves that goes into that teapot.  Not like they would get 6 teapots.  If your family wants tea, order 1 and bring some cups with you!
  
  On to the food -
  A good cantonese noodle is al dente.  The noodles we got was super soft / overcooked.  The Roast Duck itself was excellent.  Advise - order the Roast Duck alone, but with rice or another kind of noodle which cannot be overcooked like mei fan or hor fan.
  
  Japanese seaweed salad - didn't taste right.  Something was off with the sauce.  
  
  The pan fried noodles was the bomb.  The portion of seafood was generous.  
  
  For food I would give 3 stars.  But the high price, the tea charge rip off and the not up to par customer service gets 1 start.

  The worst Asian / Chinese food, I ever had; for several reasons.
  
  First - super over the top pricing.
  $7.88 for cup of soup? $26.88 for hard, fatty beef and asparagus??
  
  Second - food was luke warm.  
  
  Third - food was bland and tasteless.
  
  Last but not least, the only saving grace was that the server, an older asian lady; was friendly, personable and customer service oriented.

  I honestly am shocked to see 2 stars for this noodle shop. We had a perfect experience from start to finish. We arrived at 12:20am (they close at 12:30am), but they took us and we ordered a decent amount of food: shrimp and pork wonton soup (they allowed a substitute of chow fun noodles instead of egg noodles),
  salt and pepper chicken wings, pork belly bao sliders, shrimp dumplings, shrimp and pork shumai, and roasted duck. It was all delicious and the offered sauces added additional savor. The broths in each soup were the epitome of comfort food bliss and the dim sum was so good - we would go to the Noodle Shop for lunch, snack, or late night dinner. You can't go wrong. Service was pleasant and quick and no one seemed annoyed that we were last minute customers. I would suggest to give it a try if you're in the mood for tasty noodle soup - it gets cold in the casino!
